Mauro Bertoli, winner of many National and International competitions, has estabilished himself on the international stage and was praised by the press for his formidable technique and his exceptional sensitivity.

When the celebrated Canadian pianist Louis Lortie listened to Mauro's playing he immediately recommended him to the prestigious “Orford Festival” in Canada.

He has performed for important festivals and in major concert halls (Theatre “La Fenice” in Venice, Auditorium “S.Cecilia” in Rome, Verdi Hall in Milan...) throughout Europe, Israel and North America and played with orchestras such as Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Orchestra of Teatro Olimpico of Vicenza, Palm Beach Symphony Orchestra, Texas Festival Orchestra, Orchestra “Coccia” of Novara, Chamber Orchestra of Brescia to cite a few.

Recently the famous pianist and conductor Philippe Entremont invited Mauro Bertoli to perform with him the Concerto op.15 n.1 by Beethoven in Ottawa, Canada, and the concert was a big success.

Having received his musical education at the Academy of Music “G. Verdi” in Milan, at the Academy “S. Cecilia” in Rome, at the Foundation “R.Romanini” in Brescia, at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, in Brussels (ICPA – International Certificate for Piano Artists) and at the Ecole Normale de Musique “A. Cortot” in Paris, Mauro won the “Giuseppe Sinopoli Award 2006”, the most prestigious Italian prize awarded personally by Giorgio Napolitano, the President of the Italian Republic.

He recorded CDs for Sarx Records, Stradivarius and Son Art Studio. His last CD with music by Beethoven and Schumann was sponsorised by Casa Bugatti Italy. He played also for Radio Classica Milano.

Besides focusing on his solo career, Mauro is an active chamber musician and has appeared together with the renowned US American musicians Eric Ruske (horn), Emilio Còlon (cello), Kenneth Grant (clarinet), the Norwegian violinist Liv Hilde Klokk, the Austrian violinist Wolfgang David and with Marco Zoni (principal flute at La Scala, Milan).

He also attended masterclasses with Alexis Weissemberg, Francois-Rene Duchable, Michael Beroff, Robert Roux, Sthépane Lemelin, France Clidat, Bruno Canino, Andrea Lucchesini, Mario Brunello, Franco Rossi...
